1. Consult a Specialist (Proforma-B)
You must consult a Government or Private Specialist Doctor in the relevant medical field (Vision/Physical) for which you were declared unfit.
- The doctor must issue a certificate in Proforma-B (available in the notification).
- The certificate must state that the doctor is aware of the Railway Medical Standards and the candidate’s previous rejection.
- The doctor must attest your photograph and mention their MCI/State Registration Number.
2. Prepare the Application (Proforma-A)
- Write an application in your own handwriting using Proforma-A.
- This serves as your formal request for a re-medical examination.
3. Demand Draft (Appeal Fee)
- Prepare a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,000/-.
- The DD should be in favor of: “Chairman / RRB/ Bangalore”.
- Refund Policy: If your appeal is successful and you are declared FIT after the re-medical exam, this amount will be returned. If you remain UNFIT, the amount is forfeited.
4. Submission
Send the following documents via Speed Post or Registered Post to the RRB Bengaluru address mentioned above:
- Handwritten Proforma-A.
- Original Medical Certificate (Proforma-B).
