RRB Group D Revised Exam Date 2026: New Schedule for CEN 08/2024 (Level 1)

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued an urgent notification today regarding the revised exam schedule for the recruitment of various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix under CEN 08/2024. The Computer-Based Test (CBT), which was earlier scheduled to be held from 01st to 16th January 2026, has been rescheduled. The exams will now be conducted on 08th & 09th January 2026 and 02nd, 03rd, 04th, 05th, 06th, 09th & 10th February 2026.

The official notice, dated 23.12.2025, confirms that the link for viewing the Exam City & Date will be live 10 days prior to the exam date on official websites.

Detailed Context: Old vs. New Exam Dates

The Railway Recruitment Board has made significant changes to the CBT timetable for Level 1 posts. Initially, the board had planned to wrap up the examinations within the first half of January. However, according to the revised notice, the exam window has been split and extended into February.

  • Cancelled Schedule: The exams originally planned from 01st to 16th January 2026 will strictly NOT be held as per the old schedule.
  • Revised Schedule: Candidates must now prepare for the exams on these specific dates:
    • January 2026: 08, 09
    • February 2026: 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 09, 10

Steps to Download RRB Group D Hall Ticket

With the exam dates finalized, the Admit Card link will be the next major update. The E-Call Letter will be available for download 4 days prior to your scheduled exam date.

  1. Visit the Direct Link: Click on the official login link provided below or visit our Railway Recruitment page.
  2. Enter Credentials: Use your Registration Number and Date of Birth (in DD-MM-YYYY format).
    • Note: If you have forgotten your registration number, use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to retrieve it.
  3. Access Dashboard: Once logged in, look for the “E-Call Letter” option.
  4. Download & Print: Save the PDF file and take a legible printout.
