Important Exam Day Guidelines for Candidates
Since this is a departmental promotional exam (LDCE/Selection), the process is time-bound. Based on the schedule released, here are key instructions candidates must follow:
- Strict Reporting: The gap between Reporting Time and Gate Closure is only 30 minutes. Ensure you reach the venue well in advance. No candidate will be allowed entry after 08:30 AM (Shift 1) or 01:30 PM (Shift 2).
- Biometric Verification: A dedicated 30-minute slot is allocated for Biometric registration. Failure to complete this step will disqualify you from the exam.
- Practice Test: RRC has scheduled a 15-minute “Practice Test” before the main exam starts. This suggests the exam will likely be Computer Based (CBT). Use this time to familiarise yourself with the interface.
