Railway Recruitment Cell, East Coast Railway (RRC-ECoR) has released the Provisional List of Eligible and Ineligible Candidates for the departmental selection to the post of Technician-III / Track Machine (TM). This selection is being conducted against the 25% LDCE (Limited Departmental Competitive Examination) quota in the TMO (Track Machine Organization) of the Civil Engineering Department.
The official notification (No. ECoR/Pers/13/25%LDCE/Tech-III/Provisional/Eligible/Ineligible) was issued on 23rd January 2026. Candidates who applied for this notification (dated 05.12.2025) are strongly advised to check their status immediately. The administration has also provided a window of 07 days to submit representations against the list.

Details of the Provisional Lists
The notification includes two separate lists:
- Provisional Eligible List: Contains the names of candidates whose applications have been accepted based on the service records and qualifications provided. These candidates are provisionally eligible to appear for the upcoming CBT.
- Provisional Ineligible List: Contains names of candidates whose applications were rejected. The primary reason cited for rejection in the attached list is “Not having requisite educational and Technical Qualification”.
Note: The candidature is purely provisional. If any discrepancy is found at any stage regarding eligibility, the candidature will be rejected.
Action Required: Pre-Selection Training & Representations
- For Ineligible Candidates: If you find your name in the ineligible list and believe it is an error, you must submit a representation to the Personnel Department within 07 days from the date of issue of this letter (i.e., by 30th Jan 2026).
- For SC/ST Candidates: The notification instructs Dy.CE/TM (WAT, KUR) and AEN/TM/SBP to organize mandatory pre-selection coaching/training for eligible SC/ST candidates for a period of 3 to 4 weeks. If any SC/ST candidate is unwilling to undergo this training, they must submit a written unwillingness.
- CBT Schedule: The date, time, and venue for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be notified shortly after the finalization of the list and completion of training.
