Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway (ER), Kolkata has officially released the Document Verification (DV) schedule for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the 2025-26 cycle. The notification specifically covers candidates shortlisted for the Jamalpur Workshop, Asansol, and Malda Units.
According to Notice No. RRC/ER/Act Apprentices/2025-26(440) dated 03.02.2026, the Document Verification process will commence in mid-February. Additionally, the link to download the e-Call Letter (Admit Card) has been activated from 04th February 2026.

Detailed DV Schedule and Venue
The RRC has centralized the verification process for these three specific units. Regardless of whether you applied for Asansol or Malda, your DV will be held at the Jamalpur Workshop.
- DV Dates: The verification runs from 16.02.2026 to 10.03.2026.
- Excluded Dates (Holidays/Sundays): DV will not be held on Feb 21, 22, 28 and March 01, 04, 05, 07, 08.
- DV Venue:Jamalpur Workshop, E-6 Section, Personnel Branch, Eastern Railway, Munger, Bihar – 811214.
For Absent Candidates: If a candidate misses their scheduled slot due to a valid reason (with proof), RRC ER has reserved 09th March 2026 (2nd Half) and 10th March 2026 as reserve dates. No separate call letters will be issued for these dates; candidates must appear with their original call letter and a valid explanation.
How to Download RRC ER Apprentice DV Admit Card
The e-Call Letters are available for download from 04/02/2026 (08:00 AM) to 10/03/2026 (05:00 PM).
- Visit the official link provided in the “Important Links” section below.
- Login using your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Download the DV e-Call Letter.
- Important: The call letter contains instructions (Part A) that must be filled only in the presence of the Invigilator at the venue. Do not sign or fill it beforehand.
Mentor’s Note: Ensure you print the e-Call letter back-to-back (front and back pages) as instructed in the notice.
List of Documents Required for DV
Candidates must bring Originals along with 02 sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents. Arrange them in the order specified:
- Photos: 10 copies of the photograph (same as uploaded in the application).
- Educational Proof:
- 10th/Secondary Admit Card, Mark Sheet, and Certificate.
- ITI Admit Card, Mark Sheet, and Certificate (NCVT/SCVT).
- Application Form: A printout of your Online Application Form.
- Caste Certificate: SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS certificate in the central government format.
- ID Proofs:
- Voter Identity Card (Both sides).
- Aadhaar Card (Both sides).
- PAN Card (Both sides).
- Medical Fitness Certificate:
- Must be issued by a Government Authorised Doctor (Gazetted), not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.
- Format: The specific format is attached to the notification (Page 5 & 6 of the PDF).
- For PwBD/ESM: Original Disability certificate or Discharge booklet/Pension papers respectively.
Special Instruction: On the first page of each photocopy set, write your Name, Address, Phone Number, Institute details, and Issuing Authority address.
