Important Instructions for Candidates
- Duplicate Call Letters: Candidates should download their Call Letter from the official NER website. If you are unable to download it, report to the trial venue on the scheduled date and time; a duplicate copy will be provided at the venue.
- Sports Kit: No sports equipment or kit will be provided by the Railways. Candidates must bring their own sports kit.
- Duration: The trial activities may take more than one day. Candidates must come prepared to stay for multiple days and arrange their own accommodation and food.
- Mandatory Condition for Level-1 Posts: Candidates participating for Level-1 posts in Athletics, Wrestling, Handball, Kabaddi, Cricket, Volleyball, Hockey, Football, Weightlifting, Swimming, Basketball, and Boxing MUST bring a certificate from the relevant Indian Sports Association/Federation proving a Top 8th position. Failure to produce this will result in disqualification from the trial.
List of Documents Required for Sports Trial
Candidates must report to the venue with the following documents in Original along with one set of photocopies:
- Printed Call Letter (Downloaded from website).
- Printed Application Form.
- Photo Identity Card: (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, etc.).
- Date of Birth Proof: Matriculation (10th) Certificate.
- Educational Certificates: Academic qualification proofs.
- Sports Achievement Certificates: All relevant sports certificates including the “Top 8th Position” certificate for Level-1 candidates.
- Caste Certificate: For SC/ST/OBC candidates (if applicable).
- Photographs: Two recent passport-sized colored photographs.
- Fee Exemption Certificate: If fee exemption was claimed during application.
