Detailed Analysis of the Application Status
The scrutiny process is complete, and the RRC has provided specific reasons for the status of each candidate.
1. Eligible Candidates (Annexure A)
A total of 38 candidates (30 Dancers and 8 Keyboard Players) have been found fully eligible. These candidates are advised to keep their original photo identity proofs ready, as the E-Call Letter will be released shortly on the RRC WR website.
2. Provisionally Eligible Candidates (Annexure B)
30 candidates have been granted provisional eligibility. Their candidature is subject to the submission of specific documents at the time of Document Verification (DV).
- Common Reason: Most candidates in this list failed to submit the Caste Certificate in the Central Government Format.
- Action Required: If your name is in this list, ensure you obtain the correct format certificate immediately to avoid disqualification later.
3. Ineligible Candidates (Annexure C)
25 applications have been rejected. The primary grounds for rejection include:
- Missing Cultural Qualification: Certificates not uploaded or invalid (e.g., submitting a Vocal certificate for a Keyboard post).
- Date of Birth Proof: Failure to upload valid DOB documents (10th Marksheet/Certificate).
- Educational Qualification: Incomplete documents or missing degree certificates.
RRC WR Cultural Quota Written Exam Pattern 2026
For the eligible candidates, the next step is the Written Examination. The official notice (Para 6) has outlined the specific pattern for this test. Since the exam date can be announced at short notice, candidates must start revising immediately.
Exam Structure:
- Total Marks: 50 Marks.
- Question Type: Objective Type Questions.
- Duration: 45 Minutes.
- Negative Marking: There will be a penalty for wrong answers. 1/3rd of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Mentor Note: The written test is just the screening. The real test of your skill will be the Practical Demonstration. However, you must score well here to proceed. Focus on General Knowledge (related to Culture/Music) and Arithmetic/Reasoning basics.
