The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway (ER), Kolkata has officially released the schedule for the Sports Trials and Document Verification (DV) for recruitment against the Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2025-26.
In an urgent notice dated 21st January 2026, the RRC announced that trials for multiple sports disciplines including Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, and Swimming will commence from 29th January 2026. Eligible candidates can now download their E-Call Letters (Admit Cards) from the official website.

Sports Trial & DV Schedule (Discipline-Wise)
Candidates must note that for some disciplines, Document Verification (DV) will be held one day prior to the field trials. Failure to attend the DV will result in disqualification from the trials.

Note: Candidates must check their specific Reporting Time in the E-Call Letter. Generally, reporting is between 08:00 AM to 09:30 AM.
List of Documents Required for DV & Trials
Candidates must carry the following items to the venue. Failure to produce original documents will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- E-Call Letter: Downloaded from the link below.
- Photo ID Proof: Original Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or PAN Card.
- Sports Certificates: Original certificates supporting your eligibility.
- Educational Certificates: Original Marksheets and Certificates (10th/12th/Graduation).
- Caste Certificate: In the central government prescribed format (if applicable).
- Photographs: 4 stamp-sized photos (identical to the application photo).
- Photocopies: One set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates.
- Sports Kit: Your own playing kit and equipment.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Stay Arrangement: Candidates should be prepared to stay for 3-4 days for the completion of DV and Trials. No accommodation will be provided by Railways.
- Reporting: Reach the venue at least one hour before the scheduled time.
- Discipline: Any unfair practice or impersonation will lead to immediate rejection.
