RRB CEN 06/2024: NTPC (UG) – City Intimation Link Available for CBT-II

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially activated the Exam City Intimation Link for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) of the Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) recruitment. Candidates appearing for the exam under CEN No. 06/2024 can now check their exam city and date. The CBT-II is scheduled to be held on 20th December 2025 (Saturday) across various centres in India.

According to the official notice, the link to view the Exam City & Date and download the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates is live 10 days prior to the exam date. Consequently, the E-Call Letters (Admit Cards) will be available for download 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the exam city slip.

📝 Important Notice Regarding Biometric Authentication

The RRB has strictly advised candidates regarding Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication, which will be conducted at the exam center prior to entry.

  • Mandatory: Candidates must bring their Original Aadhaar Card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar.
  • Advice: If you have not yet authenticated your identification through Aadhaar verification, you are advised to log in to www.rrbapply.gov.in immediately to facilitate smooth entry.
  • Locked Aadhaar: Ensure your Aadhaar is unlocked in the UIDAI system before reaching the exam center to avoid registration failures.

📥 How to Check Exam City & Download Hall Ticket

The process to check your exam city and subsequently download your admit card is simple. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Link: Click on the direct City Intimation link provided at the end of this article or visit your respective RRB regional website.
  2. Login: Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (Password).
  3. View City Slip: Once logged in, your Exam City, Date, and Shift timings will be displayed. Note: This is NOT your Admit Card; it is only for travel planning.
  4. Download Admit Card (From Dec 16): Visit the same link 4 days before your exam date to download the full E-Call Letter.
  5. Print: Take a clear printout of the Admit Card (preferably in color) for the exam day.

🆔 List of Documents Required for Exam Day

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam center. Without these, entry will be denied:

  • E-Call Letter: The hard copy of the admit card downloaded from the official website.
  • Original ID Proof:Aadhaar Card (Preferred/Mandatory for Biometric).
    • Alternative valid IDs: Voter Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, or Identity Card issued by Government/College/University.
  • Passport Size Photographs: Two recent color photographs (matching the one uploaded in the application).
  • For SC/ST Candidates: Original Caste Certificate (if availing free travel authority) and the Travel Pass downloaded from the portal.
