Important Instructions for the Skill Test

The official notification outlines specific guidelines for the test day:

  • Preparation Time: Candidates will get 90 minutes to prepare their topic.
  • Topic Selection: The topic will be decided by the committee on the spot.
  • Presentation: You can use PowerPoint presentations or other teaching aids available at the venue.
  • Duration: The actual teaching demonstration will last between 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Scoring: The test carries 150 marks with 15% weightage in the final merit list. There are no minimum qualifying marks, but high performance is crucial for final selection.
  • Evaluation Criteria: Teaching Ability, Methodology, Content Expertise, Communication Skills, and Classroom Management.

Candidates must download their E-Call letter to know their exact exam center and reporting time. Follow these steps:

  2. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD-MM-YYYY).
  3. Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
  4. Click on “Login”.
  5. Your E-Call Letter and City Intimation Slip will be displayed.
  6. Download and print a clear copy for the exam day.

Ensure you carry the following original documents to the venue:

  • E-Call Letter: Printout of the admit card.
