RRB Group D Notification 2026 – Corrigendum 4 & Last Date Extension
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released Corrigendum No. 4 (dated 2nd March 2026) for the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN No. 09/2025). With this latest update, the last date to apply online has been extended to 9th March 2026. The total vacancies remain at 22,195.
The recruitment drive invites applications for posts like Track Maintainer Grade IV, Pointsman, and Assistants across various Railway Zones. The online application window is currently open from 31st January 2026 to 2nd March 2026 (9th March 2026). ⚠️ RRB Group D Corrigendum No. 3 Details (Latest – 19th Feb 2026)
On 19th February 2026, RRB released Corrigendum No. 3 for CEN 09/2025 with the following changes to Annexure-A (Post Parameters):
- PwBD Suitability Update (VI Category): For Category No. 12 (Assistant Operations-Electrical-Workshop) and Category No. 14 (Assistant S&T-Workshop), the PwBD suitability for VI (Visually Impaired) candidates has been revised from LV (Low Vision) only to B (Blind) and LV (Low Vision). This is great news — now both Blind and Low Vision candidates are eligible for these posts!
- Blank Cells Filled: Some cells in the Post Parameters table (Annexure-A) that were left blank have now been properly filled in.

⚠️ RRB Group D Corrigendum No. 2 Details (16th Feb 2026)
On 16th February 2026, RRB released Corrigendum No. 2 with the following changes:
- Vacancy Increase: Total vacancies have been revised and increased from 22,082 to 22,195 (+113 vacancies).
- Metro Railway Kolkata: Vacancy details for Metro Railway/Kolkata have been revised further — Metro vacancies significantly increased.
- PwBD Correction: The vacancies shown under OD (PwBD) category for SER, SCR and NWR were inadvertently indicated in Corrigendum 1. It is now clarified that there is no vacancy under OD (PwBD) category for Level-1.
- Modification Allowed: Candidates who have already applied can modify their preference of post, Zonal Railway(s)/Production Unit within the opted RRB without any modification fees.

Earlier on 07th February 2026, RRB had released Corrigendum No. 1 with the following changes:
- Vacancy Re-arrangement: Total vacancies were revised and increased to 22,082.

- Column Heading Change: “Sr. No.” was replaced with “Cat. No.” in Annexure-A.
