The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has released important updates regarding the recruitment of Paramedical Categories under CEN No. 04/2024. The board has published the Provisional Second and Third Part Panels, listing the roll numbers of candidates who have been provisionally empaneled for various posts.
These panels are based on the candidates’ performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Fitness tests. The latest notifications were issued on 23rd January 2026 and 27th January 2026.

Details of Provisional Part Panels
RRB Guwahati has released two separate notices confirming the empanelment of candidates. The names of these candidates have been forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, N.F. Railway, Maligaon, for further action on their appointment.
Provisional Second Part Panel (Dated 23.01.2026)
This panel includes candidates who cleared the DV rounds held in September and December 2025.
- Nursing Superintendent (Category 1): 12 Candidates
- Health & Malaria Inspector Gr III (Category 6): 5 Candidates
- Physiotherapist Grade II (Category 9): 1 Candidate
Provisional Third Part Panel (Dated 27.01.2026)
Following the second panel, another update was released specifically for the post of Optometrist.

What Happens Next? (Appointment Process)
Being empaneled is a major milestone, but it is not the final offer of employment. The N.F. Railway will now conduct an independent verification.
- Verification of Certificates: The zonal railway will verify your original Educational/Technical Qualification certificates, Date of Birth, Caste Certificate, and Character antecedents.
- Affidavit: Candidates will be required to submit an affidavit stating that their Degree/Diploma and Caste certificates are genuine.
- Offer Letter: Individual intimation regarding the appointment will be sent by N.F. Railway, Maligaon.

During the final joining process at the zonal railway headquarters, ensure you carry the following:

- Date of Birth Proof (10th Certificate).
- Character Certificate (as per format sent in offer letter).
- Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen).
- Affidavit regarding genuineness of documents.
